Why most "soap" isn't soap
When oils turn into soap, glycerin forms on its own. It holds onto water, and it's the reason a proper bar feels soft on your skin rather than squeaky.
Glycerin is worth money on its own, so in large-scale production it's often separated out and sold off. What's left cleans fine, it just doesn't have the thing that made it kind in the first place.
Plenty of supermarket bars go further. They aren't soap at all, they're synthetic detergent pressed into a bar shape. Look closely and the packaging usually avoids the word "soap".
That's the whole difference. I don't add anything clever. I just don't remove the good part, and I let the bar cure for two months so it comes out hard and lasts.

Why I started this
Hey, I'm Silas. I try to live as naturally as I can, and Wildbar started because I think everyone should get that chance, not just a few people.
So I make soap. By hand, in small batches, here in Denmark. I mix it, pour it, cut it and let it cure. I pack every order myself too.
That's really it. Natural stuff, made properly, that anyone can get hold of.
